Students construct molecules, test shape and polarity evidence, inspect structure, and compare model limits.
This guide packages Atomency into an eight-part chemistry learning plan with premade assignments, evidence portfolio expectations, and a district-managed Clever deployment pathway for licensed districts.
Atomency lessons should move students through prediction, modeling or mixing, measurement, explanation, export, and revision. The goal is not to give students a one-click answer path; the goal is to create visible chemistry evidence they can explain.
Students construct molecules, test shape and polarity evidence, inspect structure, and compare model limits.
Chemical Bench supports classroom-scale aqueous chemistry with visible effects, calculations, and scoped limitations.
Students export portfolio evidence, write CER responses, and revise claims based on teacher feedback.
| Week | Focus | Modules | Student product |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Atomic structure and periodic patterns | Periodic Table, Orbitals | Trend evidence note |
| 2 | Molecular structure and VSEPR | Molecular Lab | Geometry CER |
| 3 | Reactions and visible evidence | Chemical Bench, Equation Check | Reaction story and data table |
| 4 | Moles and stoichiometry | Mole Practice, Stoichiometry | Checked setup and reflection |
| 5 | Energy and reaction rates | Thermo, Kinetics | Energy/rate claim |
| 6 | Acids, bases, and equilibrium | pH/Acids, Titration, Equilibrium | pH/equilibrium evidence |
| 7 | Gases and nuclear chemistry | Gas Laws, Nuclear | Graph or decay evidence |
| 8 | Cumulative portfolio | Molecular Lab, Chemical Bench, Portfolio | Evidence portfolio export |
The safest current approach is district-managed launch and resource sharing. Atomency should not claim a full Clever app or SSO integration unless that integration is formally built, reviewed, and approved.
The assignment pack includes eight live Atomency assignment links for quick preview and JSON backup files for teachers who want to import, edit, and regenerate links from the approved district deployment.
